JUST FILM NIGHT AT ST. JOHN BRÉBEUF PARISH Our Social Justice Group is proud to present the first of six monthly film nights, to be held on Friday, January 24 , 7 p.m. in our parish hall (855 Bishop Power, LaSalle, H8P 1C8). This month's film, Salam Neighbor (2015), follows two American filmmakers as they travel to the edge of war, to live with 85,000 Syrian refugees in Jordan's Za'atari camp. For the first time, experience an inmate look at the heartbreak and hope on the frontlines of the world's most dire refugee crisis. This film was called “Important” by U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power and “Heart-wrenching” by Indiewire. Fair Trade coffee and tea will be served.
