Every minute, 31 people are forced
to flee their homes because
they fear for their lives and safety.

Together, we're walking 5 km in solidarity
with forced migrants around the world.
 

St. Gabriel Parish in St. Hubert is organizing a walk intended to be a concrete gesture of solidarity with the 68.5 million forced migrants in the world.  This is part of a larger global Share the Journey campaign (Development and Peace – Caritas Canada) launched by Pope Francis and Caritas Internationalis. We encourage participants to bring a snack and lunch; following the walk everyone is invited to gather for lunch and fellowship. Don't forget your water bottle to stay hydrated!
