About the Community The nuns of the Monastery of St. Mary Queen of Hearts in Chertsey, QC, earn their living by crafting rustic stoneware. They work there in the silence and solitude favourable to prayer. All the tableware of the nuns of Bethlehem is handcrafted and made of pure stoneware, fired in a gas oven at a high temperature. The clay comes from Alberta.
