You may have been witness to Archbishop Christian Lépine wearing construction gear, (including a hard hat!) at the Cathedral on September 14? His Eminence encourages everyone to consider our Church mission – together – like teamwork at a construction site.
Archbishop Lépine invites all pastoral teams to plan the continuation of the work that is ahead of us…diocesan "roadwork"! Mission is given to us, we are entrusted with mission and, on the whole, it is greater than us. We are called to participate in Jesus’ mission, and with Jesus Christ, we are also transformed bythe mission, and benefit from it, when we work together.
We could be standing in the middle of an intersection with four various perspectives from four different corners, and each perspective is as valuable as the next, in terms of working together; together to discern and together to serve.
