Do you spend a lot of your time helping others while your own needs get pushed to the side? Feeling tired, unappreciated, overwhelmed? Wondering why?
This silent retreat will explore how we find balance in our busy lives as we lead lives of service to others. Based on the popular
Messiah Trap workshop, it is an opportunity to plunge more deeply (or discover for the first time) the common styles of being a “messiah” and how we can become more aware of unhealthy patterns in our helping relationships. Guided by the wisdom of Ignatian spirituality and discernment, it is an invitation to explore this dynamic for further awareness, healing, and freedom. The weekend retreat will have opportunities for prayer, input, interaction with others, personal reflection, and spiritual direction.
