Becoming Saints for God’s Glory: Pope Francis’ invitation in Gaudete et Exultate Monday, November 26 at 7:30 p.m. Fr. Sylvester Tan, S.J., serves as the director of programs at the Villa Saint-Martin, the Jesuit retreat house in Montreal, where he seeks to help individuals and strengthen communities by offering them new opportunities to encounter the mercy of Jesus Christ. He holds degrees in Literature, Environmental Studies, Philosophy, Theology, and Medieval Studies and has worked especially in universities and parishes. Fr. Tan delights in entering into conversation with others and discovering with them the beauty and drama of the life of God present in our midst.
Mrs. Erika Jacinto, Director of Communications and Media Relations Archdiocese of Montreal, will be speaking about her experience at The World Meeting of Families in Ireland, where Catholics from around the world gathered with Pope Francis to reflect on “The Gospel of the Family: Joy for the World” RSVP, if possible 514-695-0205. Aging and End of Life in 2018 Canada -Dr. Catherine Ferrier works at the Geriatric outpatient clinic of the McGill University Health Centre. She cares for patients suffering from a variety of ailments related to aging, especially cognitive disorders. She is also the president of the Physicians’ Alliance against Euthanasia, and has been actively involved in the debate around “medical aid and dying” in Quebec and Canada. All are welcome.
