Alpha is a 12 week course that creates a space where people come and discuss life’s big questions in a friendly, open and informal environment. It will run on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8:45pm starting January 7th 2020, and will continue for 12 sessions. Every session consists of a meal, a short video, and small group discussions where anyone is free to share without discrimination. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. There is no cost, though donations are accepted. Curious? All are welcome, ages 18+!
All Friends of Mercy are invited on the 11th of each month to offer their day for the intentions of the sick, their families and the volunteers who minister to them. In addition, we pray for all members of the association, our community partners and the parishes involved in caring for the sick. If you are interested in participating in the prayer ministry of Friends of Mercy, please contact Arlene Provoteaux at [email protected].

Would you like to help the parish decorate for Christmas by donating a poinsettia or new decorations for the Christmas tree, or making a monetary donation towards flowers? There are envelopes for flower donations on the table at the back of the church. Poinsettias and decorations can be dropped off at to the sacristy the weekend of December 14 & 15.
Each year we are invited to purchase a gift that will be given to an individual along with their Christmas food basket. To make the buying decision easier and to ensure people receive a gift appropriate for their age, we ask parishioners to pick a gift tag with the details of one person needing a gift or a food treat item from the Christmas tree at the back of the church. Please do not wrap the gifts, but return the original gift tag with your gift and place it in the box beside the Christmas tree, on or before Sunday, December 8. Thank you on behalf of the needy in the community.
