Christian Action is an ecumenical group formed by the members of 9 congregations to assist those in need. The objective is to assist those who face an economic crisis, and to help their families become self supporting again. We operate a food bank for short term emergencies. We also provide financial assistance according to the certified needs and our collective ability to meet them. The food bank is currently in need of the following items: Kraft dinner, ketchup, mustard & mayonnaise. In addition to food donations C.A.C is also in need of volunteers for food deliveries. Your on-going donations are always greatly appreciated. As you can see C.A.C. does more than give canned food to those in need. Recollections are a monthly opportunity to reflect on everyday life in the light of our Catholic Faith geared to help you refresh your spirit and strengthen your resolve to transform all your activities into opportunities to love God and your neighbor. All are welcome, Tuesday, June 25 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A priest of the Opus Dei Prelature, an institution of the Catholic Church, will preach the recollection. Youth Group Gathering on Friday, June 7th at 7:00p.m. to 8:15p.m. in the hall for everyone. A special guest will be here with a special treat for everyone! A special invite to all those who received their first holy communion! For everyone in grade six and high school, especially those partaking in their confirmation, you are invited for the special treat and to stay until 9:30p.m. Come and say farewell to friends you've made or re-connect and make plans for the summer.
